One-year journey level experience welding pipelines AND a Certificate of Completion from a recognized apprenticeship as a Pipe Fitter*. Willingness to work weekends, nights, holidays and overtime as required. Availability to respond to emergency calls on a 24-hour basis. Must comply with the Long Beach Gas and Oil Anti-Drug Program as required by the Department of Transportation regulations. If appointed, candidates will be required to complete the Department of Transportation certification during probationary period and re-certification annually. * Applications will not be processed until all required proofs are received.
