BUILDING INSPECTOR IBUILDING INSPECTOR I THE POSITION This position will report to the Principal Building Inspector or the Chief, Property Conservation. Field training and direction is provided by either a Building Inspector II or a Senior Building Inspector. Building Inspectors work a 9-hour day with alternating Fridays off. NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: At the time of appointment, the candidate must posses a valid Washington State driver’s license with a Class “A” CDL; air brake endorsement; and some positions may require a hazardous materials endorsement.
