HVAC/STATIONARY ENGINEER

Salery: $4358.92 - $4805.70 per month

Contra Costa County has an immediate permanent full-time position for a journey level stationary engineer to maintain & repair HVAC systems in building throughout Contra Costa County. Other duties include inspecting chillers & ensuring containment and proper handling of refrigerants.

Requirements: Must have valid California Driver’s License, Universal CFC, High School diploma or equivalent, 1 basic electricity class & 1 refrigeration class and the college level or equivalent, & 2 yrs full-time experience. AA/EEO.

Career Apprenticeship Pathway Project

Time: 3PM to 4:30PM

CAP Project is an 18-week program for twenty-five adults.

Eligibility requirements: 18 to 21 years of age who live in Alameda County, but NOT in the City of Oakland will be selected to participate in the Career Pathway Project. Each participant who successfully completes the program will earn a stipend and will receive job placement assistance.

An applicant must also meet a low income threshold and be within one or more of the following: H.S. Dropout, In need of Basic Skills, Foster Youth, Potential Dropout, Parent, Homeless, Past Trouble with the Law.

The Career Apprenticeship Pathway Project will not exclude anyone on the basis of gender, ancestry, national origin, physically disability, medical condition or material status
