JOB SUMMARY:
This position must be able to demonstrate success in leadership, design and programming. The incumbent will use their design and development skills as part of a team to deliver mission critical, custom software solutions for use by the company's various international business units. In this role you will work with the development team, business analysts and project managers in order to deliver and produce innovative quality applications.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:
1. Provide expert application development services
2. Work in teams of developers to create, enhance, and maintain high-quality applications
3. Interfaces with team members and project managers to deliver reliable, high-performance applications
4. Works closely with other developers in other Pasha Grour locations as well as third-party developers
5. All other duties as assigned
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Cubicle office environment with moderate noise level
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: BS in computer science or closely related field strongly preferred
Licenses/Certificates: Microsoft certification (MCSD, MCSE) preferred
EXPERIENCE:
8+ years of Microsoft development experience with building Enterprise.NET
Windows/Web applications using VB.NET/ C# /ASP.NET / SQL2005/IIS
SKILLS:
Excellent Analysis and Design Skills of complex business needs with working knowledge in Service Oriented Architecture and Object Oriented Design Patterns
Experience in implementing Web Services and/or WCF
Experience with large-scale applications in a technical design role
Experience throughout the software development life cycle (Requirement Analysis, Design/Development, Unit/QA testing and Production Deployment)
Strong rational database experience: including database design, advanced stored procedure development and query optimization
Abillity to work in fast paced, multi-task environment
Self-motivated, and able to work under pressure with minimal supervision
Good verbal and written communication skills
PHYSICAL DEMAND: Ability to lift 20 lbs.
OTHER PREFERRED SKILLS:
Experience with VS2008 and .NET 3.0 (WPF, LINQ)
Experience with SQL 2005 Reporting Services or ActiveReports for .NET
Third-party controls (Infragistics or similar)
String JavaScript and AJAX skills
Understanding of IIS Configuration, Setup and Security
Understanding of server-side software, scalability, performance and reliability in web applications
Knowlege of BizTalk
