Cargill Salt has immediate openings for Temporary Heavy Equipment Operators at their Newark Facility from August through December. Pay rate is $20.00 or $20.68 per hr--Operator I or II depending on experience.

Requirements: * Demonstrated ability to follow directions (written and spoken)
* Demonstrated ability to read and write English
* Must be able to work days, swing or night shifts, or weekends
* Must have valid driver's license and provide DMV evidence of acceptable driving record
* Be physically able to perform the job duties including bending, stooping, shoveling, sweeping, climbing stairs and ladders, opening and closing valves, lifting, extended driving/riding/maneuvering of mobile equipment
* Must be able to work outdoors and in inclement weather
* Excellent work history
* Demonstrated positive attitude toward/interest in safety and safe work rules
* Physical ability and stamina to lift up to 50 pounds.
Assets: Experience operating heavy equipment-for example: front end loader, articulated dump truck, 5 yard dump truck, forklift, turf tractor, excavator, bull dozer, grader or back hoe.
As with all positions, offers are employment are conditional upon:
Passing a pre-employment physical for heavy equipment operators; passing a drug screen; passing a criminal background screen and verification of identity and employment eligibility.
