FACILITIES MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
RECRUITMENT NO. 09-030
Approximate Hourly Rate: $24.02 - $26.10 after six months
THE POSITION
The Facilities Maintenance Technician performs preventative maintenance and repair of heating cooling, ventilation systems and other building equipment such as lights, plumbing fixtures, and office furniture. Work requires familiarity with building heating systems to recognize operating conditions that may lead to breakdown or inefficient operation. The work also involves performing minor building maintenance tasks requiring a variety of mechanical skills. The current vacancy is in Portland Parks and Recreation Support Services Structures Division. This list may be used to fill future vacancies. Some positions may require successful completion of a background check prior to and/or during the hiring process.
