TRAFFIC PAINTER

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICATION
Any combination of education and experience that is equivalent to the following minimum qualifications is acceptable.
EDUCATION: Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade. Completion of an accredited apprenticeship programs in building trades may be substituted for four years experience.
EXPERIENCE: Four years of experience in painting a variety of surfaces and equipment.
THE POSITION: The City of Oakland is currently recruiting to fill one Traffic Painter vacancy in the Public Works Agency. Under direct supervision from a Public Works Supervisor I, the incumbent will perform maintenance painting duties including surface preparation and painting of traffic markings on public right-of-way and facilities.
