About the position: The County of Santa Cruz is now hiring an Engineering Technician. Experience in construction inspection, materials testing, reading and interpreting statistical maps, inspecting plans, AutoCad, or land or construction survey, is highly desirable. Requires one year of journey level technical engineering experience at the I level, two years of journey level technical engineering experience at the II level, and three years of journey level technical engineering experience at the III level. A bachelor’s degree in engineering or closely related field may be substituted for one year of the required experience. Women, minorities and people with disabilities are encouraged to apply.
