Workshop for Entry-Level Trades Apprenticeships Now Open at EBMUD
MARCH 16th from 10 AM to Noon.
East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD) will host an Informational Workshop at Tradeswomen / BACSIC offices, 2485 West 14th Street, Oakland.

At this workshop, you will:
- Learn about EBMUD’s application process for the Trades Worker Job Announcement
- Find out EBMUD’s Trades Training Program expectations
- Hear the perspectives of EBMUD employees working in the trades
Being prepared for the EBMUD Trade Workers Exam is strongly encouraged! You may prepare at the following locations:
Laney College: Prep for Vocational Testing Class, registration & class held in Building E, Room 255 the corner room, Monday & Wednesday’s from 6 to 9pm.
BACSIC: GED Prep Class with Alison Field, review math skills and reading comprehension for EBMUD exam on Tuesday & Thursday from 2 to 4pm Room “B” at 2485 West 14th St., Oakland. This class is limited to15 people.
To be eligible for the EBMUD Trades Training Program you must have your H.S. Diploma or GED, have a valid California driver’s license, a satisfactory driving record and possess the following attributes:
C Strong work ethic
C Ability to apply newly learned concepts/procedures
C Mechanically inclined
C Mathematical aptitude
C Problem solving ability
C Ability to work outside in various weather conditions
C Be physically fit with the ability to perform the job duties of the chosen trade
C To be able to work in tight confined conditions
C Be a team player
Dependable
Enthusiastic and highly motivated
Drug Free
