Successful C&MSupts effectively plan and coordinate multiple short-to-long-range projects and work crews with competing resource demands

Water Treatment Trainee Applications Open at EBMUD

East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD) is accepting applications THIS WEEK ONLY (July 26 through July 30) for Water Treatment Operator Trainee position.

This is a civil service application process. You must apply either by picking up an application from EBMUD Oakland offices at 375 11th Street in Oakland (accessible by BART at 12th Street station) or by completing the online application process available at the EBMUD wesite. Information regarding the position and application process is available at the EBMUD Careers weblink listed below. Remember to follow all instructions and fill out the application and the Supplemental questionnaire carefully. This is a separate application from the Wastewater Treatment Operator Trainee position (now closed) although the orientation and testing processes will be coordinated.

Successful applicants will be invited to a mandatory orientation session on the weekend of August 14th to be followed by a mandatory test session on the weekend of August 28th.

WASTEWATER PLANT OPERATOR TRAINEE OPPORTUNITIES

Over the next two years, East Bay Municipal Utility District expects to hire a number of entry-level operator trainees. Over the course of a few years, entry-level trainees get the opportunity to learn knowledge and skills up to the journey level. Trainees assist operators on the job, complete training courses and are provided with technical on-the-job training. They are expected to complete training and advance through the career series.

$29.57 starting promoting to $34.22 per hour / $61,500 - $71,184 annually
