THE CITY OF LOS ANGELES HAS A POSITION AS AN ASSISTANT STREET LIGHTING ELECTRICIAN
DUTIES: An Assistant Lighting Electrician assists a Street Lighting Electrician in the construction, repair and maintenance of high and low voltage electrolier street lighting systems
ANNUAL SALARY: $58, 986.00 (flat rated)
REQUIREMENT: Two years of full-time paid experience working with street lighting electrical circuitry
NOTES:
1. Candidates who lack six months or less of the above experience may file for this examination. However, they cannot be appointed until the full experience requirement is met.
2. A valid California driver's license is required. Applicants will be disqualified and not eligible for hire if within the past 36 months they were convicted of a major moving violation, such as DUI's, and may be disqualified if there are three or more moving violations and/or at fault accidents within the past 36 months.
3. A valid California Class B driver's license must be acquired before completion of the six-month probationary period.
